NGC 3242 - the Ghost of Jupiter

AKA: IRAS 07262+2100 ID , J2000 RA: 07h29m10.7s, Dec: +20°54m43s, Mag: 9.1, Distance: 920 pc, Size:0.7 arc min, Type: !PN.

Here's another nebula which is overexposed in the photographic DSS plate. I hope to get a more representative image though my telescope soon. This nebula gets its name for its size similarity to the planet Jupiter (visually). It's also referred to as the Eye Nebula, as the inner part of the nebulae bears a striking resemblance to an eye.
